Let's hope this one works.
this is a website discussing pollution laws in effect and the reasons for them.
" The American public was awakened to the need for better pollution control through the 1967 publication of Rachel Carson's groundbreaking Silent Spring and environmental disasters such as Love Canal, New York; the Donora, Pennsylvania, inversion; and the Cuyahoga River fire in Ohio. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, citizens began to demand comprehensive environmental protection laws."
This is quoted from the site and although I have not done all the research on the events mentioned I plan to. I believe it will just make my point that much clearer. STOP LITTERING! Everyone can do something. Recycle, plant a tree, stop using so much electricity, everything helps.
